2015, THE INFLUENCE OF SORPTION THERAPY ON ENDOTOXICOSIS, URINE MICROFLORA AND BLOOD GLUCOSE LEVELS DURING ACUTE BACTERIAL PURULENT INFLAMMATION OF THE KIDNEYS (PYELONEPHRITIS)

Arbuliyev K.M., Abdurakhmanova F.M., Arbuliyev M.G., Magomedov M.G., Idrisova A.M., Azizov M.O.

55 patients with acute pyelonephritis were studied. Of these, 28 patients underwent standard conservative therapy and for 27 patients the standard therapy was paired with sorption therapy using polymethylsiloxane polyhydrate (Enterosgel). As a result, an expressed detoxifying, bactericidal action by Enterosgel was recorded, with use in patients with pyelonephritis against a background of associated diabetes leading to a reduction in blood glucose levels. The use of Enterosgel during comprehensive treatment of acute pyelonephritis allowed a reduction in the severity of illness and number of complications, and to shorten the duration of treatment.

2015, EFFICIENCY OF ENTEROSGEL IN KIDNEY DISEASES IN CHILDREN LIVING IN THE THE CEMENT INDUSTRY REGION

Kudin M.V., Tsaregorodtsev A.D., Fedorov Y.N., Dlin V.V.

Nowadays the problem of interaction between the environment chemical composition and the health of the population is a challenge not only in Russia but also in other parts of the world. The level of overall health and quality of the environment (taking into account natural and anthropogenic factors) are to different extent determined by biogeochemical features in different regions of Russia. With intensification of industrial and human activities, urban growth, creation of "megalopolises" and major industrial centers the load has increased so intensively that a special ecological environment was formed, with high concentrations of anthropogenic products – i.e. with a serious pollution of air, soil and water basins.

2015, COLLECTION OF RESEARCH PAPERS. ENTEROSGEL RESEARCHES

The term “enterosorption” has been proposed to define a method of sorption therapy based on daily oral administration of “enterosorbents”. Enterosorbents were known in the past because the tradition of eating natural clays in case of poisoning, for improvement of well-being, jugulation of diarrhea, and, possibly, for treatment of deficiency in microelements, goes back to bygone times, and as a phenomenon known as geophagia it was observed particularly in primates [6, 7]. However, Enterosgel, comparing to other sorbents has unique hydrophobic and selective sorption properties, which made it effective and safe in wide range of medical applications. Enterosgel has proven it’s safety and efficacy during 35 years of clinical studies and use in major hospitals of the Soviet Union, it is recommended in the official guidance of Ministry of Health for treatment of various diseases. Since 2008 Enterosgel is certified as a medical device class IIa and available as an OTC treatment in Europe.

2009, USE OF THE ENTEROSGEL IN COMBINED THERAPY OF PYELONEPHRITIS IN CHILDREN

Bagdasarova I.V., Fomina S.P., Lavrenchuk O.V., Osadchaya O.I., Sheiman B.S., Bagdasarov R.V.

Prevalence of urinary system diseases in Ukraine is 37 per 1000 children and tends towards constant growth. Among the urinary tract infections pyelonephritis (PN) is the most serious problem, which occupies a leading place among nephrology pathologies of childhood [3, 4]. In the recent years, an increase of recurrent and latent disease types is often accompanied by development of intoxication syndrome, probably caused by agents of toxin production, as well as by response of the body, with the development of endotoxemia, metabolic and immune distress.

2009, USE OF ENTEROSGEL IN THE TREATMENT OF PATIENTS WITH TERMINAL STAGE OF CHRONIC RENAL DISEASE WITH DIALYSIS THERAPY

Yakubcevich R.E., Hlyupina N.P., Savostyanik S.А., Kuznetsov О.Е.

In the recent decades, a steady increase in the number of patients with end-stage chronical kidney disease (CKD) has been observed all over the world. This makes the problem of CKD treatment one of the central in modern nephrology. Considerable progress of renal replacement therapy (RRT), scientific and technical achievements in the field of hemodialysis, widespread introduction of clinic peritoneal dialysis and kidney transplantation have created real conditions for the successful solution of this problem. Bad life prognosis and the inevitable disablement have gone, as well as necessity of absolute avoidance from active social and professional activity [7,11]. At the same time it has become clear that it is important not only to extend life, but also to ensure its high quality.

Chernikhova E.A., Anikhovskaya I.A., Gataullin Yu.K., Zakirova D.Z., Ivanov V.B., Saveliev A.A., Yakovlev M.Yu.

The study of 25 patients with chronic inflammatory diseases (HID) in stage of remission has demonstrated efficiency of intestinal absorption method (enterosorption) to reduce significantly the total concentration of bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS) in the general circulation. Endotoxin aggression (EA) of intestinal etiology is a universal factor in the pathogenesis of many diseases and syndromes and may be the immediate cause of local inflammation, acute and chronic SIRS (systemic inflammatory response syndrome - systemic inflammatory response syndrome), allergic and autoimmune reactions.

Novel intestinal and topical adsorbent drugs with detoxifying effect (studies were conducted in 1980-1990 by order of Main Military Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine) were widely evaluated in military medical facilities. The Military Hospital of Kyiv (nowadays the Main Military Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine) participated in the medical and biological evaluation of novel drugs from the beginning of their development (V.N. Fadeev, F.G. Novikov, N.P. Bezlyuda).
